MAURO PIVA

Brazil, 1977

Graduated in Fine Arts from FAAP - Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado in São Paulo, Brazil. He has had solo exhibitions at the Instituto Figueiredo Ferraz, Ribeirão Preto, Brazil (2017); at the XIX Festival of English Culture, Centro Cultural Britânico São Paulo (2016) and Galeria Leme, São Paulo (2016). He has participated in group exhibitions such as "guerrero-projects", Houston, USA. (2016) or "Rio Setecentista, quando o Rio virou capital" [Rio de Janeiro in the seventies, when Rio de Janeiro became capital], MAR - Museu de Arte do Rio, Rio de Janeiro (2015). His work is in institutional collections such as Art Center Hugo Voeten, Herentals, Belgium; Museu de Arte do Rio (MAR), Rio de Janeiro; Maxine and Stuart Frankel Foundation for Art, Michigan, USA; Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo (MAM), São Paulo; JPMorgan Chase Art Collection, USA. In 2015, Editorial Cobogó published a monographic book on the artist.
