Madrigal explores different ways of manipulating objects and materials. He has challenged gravity - not only the physical but also the visual balance, as well as the conventionality of artistic supports. He works with forms and objects that we can recognise in our everyday life, but when they are arbitrarily related to others, they are re-signified, radically changing our perception of them.
He has exhibited in various venues in Mexico including the Galeria Enrique Guerrero, the Monterrey Femsa Biennial, the first, second and third National Biennial of Visual Arts of Yucatan, the XXIV National Encounter of Young Art Aguascalientes, the National Arts Centre, the Chopo University Museum, the National Arts Centre, the MUCA Roma, the Cultural Centre of Spain in Mexico, the Vasconcelos Library, the Ibero-American University in Puebla, among others. As well as in international venues in Spain, USA, Germany, Colombia, Canada, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Hong Kong, Japan, France, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, China, United Kingdom, to mention a few.
